Ian Chard

Ian is an experienced marketer specializing in content strategy, creation, and activation. He joined Cisco in 2016 supporting Data Center and Cloud in UKI, before moving to an EMEAR role, where his team created the region’s first always on journey for the Data Center Buyer. Prior to Cisco, Ian held Head of Content roles at London-based agencies. He began his career at a B2B publisher, where he became Editor, before going freelance. He’s had articles published in The Independent, Information Age, Evening Standard and Energy Economist. He also authored industry reports as an analyst with Juniper Research. Outside of work, Ian lives with his family in Surrey. He’s located near Box Hill, a mecca for cyclists, which is lucky, as Ian is a self-confessed MAMIL (Middle-Aged Man in Lycra).
